From February 2nd to 8th 2024, we have attended an international training in Corato, Italy and joined inclusive and dynamic workshops centered on themes like Rural youth, Quality education and Employment for all!
The training was organised within the Erasmus+ project European Youth Voices, which aims to address major youth issues and key priorities of young people in 5 participating countries: Serbia, Italy, Austria, Latvia, and Poland. For one week, 25 young people, 5 from each country, got together in Corato, Italy, to delve into the topics of rural youth, education, and employment and discuss current youth issues and opportunities. They had a chance to participate in discussions and debates on these matters. The training was held in the English language.
What Participants Gained:

- Improved English and communication skills
- Leadership and experience in youth work
- Opportunity to visit another country in Europe and discover new cultures and customs
- Overview of other European countries with regards to education and employment
- Networking opportunities with like-minded individuals
After the training, 5 participants from Austria took matters into their own hands and organised a series of local events in form of roundtable discussions, youth dialogues, public debated and lecture to include young people in Austria and give them an opportunity to talk about issues or concerns related to rural areas, education and employment. Events were organised both online and offline in Vienna and Salzburg.
