Are you a youth worker, educator, or mentor looking to enhance your emotional intelligence and stress management skills? Do you want to learn practical tools to navigate challenges, build resilience, and support young people more effectively? EmoPower is a 13-day immersive Erasmus+ training course designed to help you develop self-awareness, improve communication, and manage stress in both personal and professional settings. Through hands-on workshops, experiential learning, and intercultural exchange, you’ll gain valuable insights and techniques that will benefit both you and the young people you work with!

What to Expect?

Over the course of 13 days, you will participate in interactive workshops, group discussions, and hands-on exercises designed to enhance emotional intelligence and stress management skills. You will have the opportunity to work with youth workers from 12 different countries, exchange best practices, and develop practical strategies to support young people more effectively. The program also includes team-building activities, outdoor challenges, and cultural evenings, providing a well-rounded experience that fosters both personal and professional growth.

About the Venue

The training will take place at Ośrodek Społecznik, a peaceful and inspiring venue located in Międzybrodzie Bialskie, Poland, surrounded by the breathtaking landscapes of the Silesian Beskid Mountains. This cozy education and training center provides a comfortable and welcoming environment, perfect for learning, reflection, and personal growth. Participants will be accommodated in shared rooms with access to essential amenities, including Wi-Fi, common spaces for group activities, and outdoor areas for relaxation and recreation. With its close proximity to Żywiec Lake and scenic hiking trails, the venue offers plenty of opportunities to connect with nature, engage in outdoor team-building exercises, and unwind after intensive training sessions. All meals, including vegetarian and special dietary options, will be provided on-site, ensuring a pleasant and inclusive experience for all participants.

Important note: The venue DOES NOT provide towels, soap, shampoo and hairdryer. Participants should bring these items themselves if they wish to use them.

Practical Details

  • Travel: Transport from Austria to the venue is supported. Participants are required to plan their travels in advance and upon approval from the hosting organisation Klaster book their tickets. Travel expenses are reimbursed after the training is completed and travel documents are handed over to the host. 
  • Costs: Travel costs are reimbursed based on the distance calculator up to 275 EUR in case of green travel (no flights), and in case of non-green travel (including flights) up to 211 EUR. Accommodation, and meals during the program are covered (starting with dinner on 18.6.2025 and last meal is breakfast on 30.6.2025).
  • What to bring: Participants are required to bring their own laptops or tablets. Comfortable outdoor clothes and shoes are recommended for outdoor teambuilding activities. Typical Austrian snacks and sweets are welcome for intercultural evening!

Travelling to Międzybrodzie Bialskie

There are a few options how to get to the venue.

1. Travelling by train

Take a direct ÖBB train from Vienna Hauptbahnhof (Hbf) to Katowice or Vienna Hbf to Kraków Główny (both routes available with one transfer in Ostrava or Bohumín). From Katowice Dworzec (main railway station) or Kraków Główny, take a train to Bielsko-Biała Główna From Bielsko-Biała D.A. (bus station), take bus 113 to Międzybrodzie Skrzyżowanie and then walk a few minutes to the venue.

Anohter option is to take a direct train to Czechowice Dziedzice and travel to the venue from there.

2. From Katowice Airport (KTW)

Take an AP bus to Katowice Dworzec (railway station), then a train to Bielsko-Biała Główna, followed by a bus (line 113) to Międzybrodzie Skrzyżowanie, which is just a short walk from the venue.

3. From Kraków Airport (KRK)

Take the SKA1 train to Kraków Główny (Main Railway Station), then a train to Bielsko-Biała Główna, and follow the same bus route (line 113). A direct train from Kraków Główny to Bielsko-Biała Główna is also available at selected times. 

How to plan your travels?

  1. Confirmation of Participation
    Once we confirm your participation in the project, you’ll receive further instructions.
  2. Submission of Your Travel Plan
    You’ll be required to prepare your proposed travel plan (to and from Międzybrodzie Bialskie) for approval.
  3. Approval by the hosting organisation
    Klaster – your hosting association will review and approve your travel plan to ensure everything aligns with the program guidelines.
  4. Booking Your Travel
    Once approved, you’ll be asked to book your travel tickets.
  5. Travel Costs Reimbursement
    After participating in the training week, your travel costs will be reimbursed. Make sure to keep your receipts and tickets as proof! Travel expenses are not eligible for reimbursement without the original receipt or travel document, so make sure to keep all evidence of your travel until handed over to Klaster staff.
